Properly sized twins are hard to beat but there are some interesting options out there in singles these days.

If I have any complaint from my setup its that my turbos almost come on too quick two low on the powerband and of course traction is a big problem then.I guess could go down on gear but I like my 3.54 off boost around town. To me 3.08 or so gears are fine for highway in a turbo 400 but not needed in a 4l80 with overdrive. And the theory about them spooling up turbos quicker well not sure I buy it.And even if did don't care as said fast enough spool already.

But if you goals are only 650rwhp then yeah you can run smaller single and get what you want..

i just put a 6.0 in my car with a tc78. i am using the 1.15ar exhaust housing. i am running 17lbs of boost. i think its a really good turbo for the street. i havent had it on the dyno but i would say it is in the neighborhood of 650whp.

be very interested to see what your putting down,
my TC78 did 622rwhp at 16 psi with a 1.0ar housing (383)
have stepped up to a 1.32ar, pulls stronger up top ,spools just as quick, no new dyno numbers yet.

sixspeed or automatic?

I've ran GTS 76, a ball bearing turbonetics, and the TC 76 and TC 78, hands down the TC turbos spool faster than the others, quite noticeable IMO.

for the price yes, but would be pretty laggy on a 6speed street car!

The TC 78 is a good match for a M6 car.
You could go bigger with an Auto and stall as lag is not such an issue.

My Tc76 bb .96ar spools really quick on 370ci. I think a 78 wouldnt be too much slower. I dont think you need any more than a tc76 for 650hp on a 6.0l.

that tc-78 sould like a good turbo for what you want. but with that many cubes your power goal might be the limit with that turbo

We have sold the TC's to many customers and can tell you their really isn't anything out there that will outspool the TC's...period. For their size, price and punch, it can not be beat.
