My problem worked out well for EPP. I bought an 8 rib conversion kit from Bob. At least I have no slippage issues now.

Hmm, tough choice. Take a look at the power we made with this stock bottom end LS3 engine that we installed our blower cam and add a ProCharger D-1SC to it. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=59 The heads make a huge difference! Bob
I see, VERY respectable numbers for sure!
If I were to do the LS2 shortblock I planned on throwing on some unported/unmilled L92's. with a single plane elbow and 92mm tb (already have it sitting in the garage). I think that would put me somewhere in the 9.8:1 area (using L76 gaskets), correct me if i'm wrong.
Now i'm usually not a fan of off the shelf cams, however I really like the numbers coming out of your guys blower cam for sure.
Now givin I do the shortblock/heads/intake above, and with your cam. I should get a similar outcome, correct. i know the numbers should come out a but lower due to less static compression. That would be somewhat more forgiving on the lowerend though, wouldn't it?
I have also heard that 600 is kinda the limit on the stock lowerends, is there any truth to that?
And again thanks for you rquick response.

IMOP to tighten the belt that tight will eventely wear down the bearnings in the blower fast and cant be good on the engine bearnings either. I burnt out 3 of the stock Procharger Idler tentioner's ,the bearnings fell apart, at $95 a pop , i said time to upgrade to a auto spring loading tentioner set up.

Bump! Well most of my parts have been ordered. Block is at the machine shop now. Should be done in a couple weeks. Looking foward to what she will do. Any guesses? I dont want to over spin her to much but im looking at: Forged 370 9.6-1 comp, Stage 3 prc LS6 heads, D1 maxed out with 7.65 crank amd 3.4 blower, methanol (m-10 nozzle I believe). Running to 6500-6700ish rpm. Through a 6spd and 9in.

Hopefully within the next month or so. Motor should be done in 3 weeks or so. I need to get a new clutch while I have her pulled down that far. Minus a couple things here and there Im looking to get the motor in and running in month or so. I need to work on my fuel system so I think thats where I'm gonna be held back for now. I'm looking to break 700 as is and then running my -10 supply line and all the other good stuff.

Curious as to how many of you 6-rib procharged guys pinned your crank? I'm planning on buying a crank-pinning kit from EPP, although its listed under their 8-rib parts. I'm still a newb to the FI thing, so I just assumed for a long time that it was something you needed to do when you changed over to the ATI damper and 8 rib setup, but now that I've done more researching, it looks like most of the 6-rib guys pinned their stock balancer as well.
How hard is it? I assume you have to pull the balancer? Relatively easy to do?

Its not bad at all, i was suprized how eazy the LS1 crank drilled, go slow and steady, it takes a while , keep even pressure on your drill, dont press super hard let the drill bit work so u get a clean straight hole, and so u dont break the bit. altho the collor guides you , i was going to lend my drill, kit out i have the kit , but you would need a pin, i think ATI sells them like a $1 each.
aslo spray wd on the bit every 10-15 seconds
I would go 8 rib from the start, there are a lot of belt slip issues with the 6 rib set ups. I cant honestly say for my self because i went 8 rib right from the begining , but my LS F-body friends all had belt slip with the 6 rib. The stock Procharger 8 rib system works good, i dont think i had any belt slip but i did burn/whipe out 3 tentioner pulley bearnings , at $100 each and that you have to take down the whole procharger unit , i had it with that, So a custom auto springer tentioner system was installed , Problem solved! 15 PSI 740 rwhp
good luck

Pulling the damper is cake. However, my puller wouldn't fit and I hesitated to use the little tiny one that Vatozone had for a loaner. I said what the hell and used it. It pulled the stock damper right off. I was afraid it would bend or twist but it didn't. My car has 11K miles if that makes any difference. Nothing on the car is rusted together or seized on.

im running a procharger p-1sc 7psi kit on my 99 trans am and it pulled 375rwhp and 380rwtq on a mustang dyno... no other engine mods has a built 10 bolt 3.73s and a finish line trans lvl 4. i know its different on a dyno-jet but is that about right? dnt get me wrong i drove v6 firebirds for 6 years and to me an ls1 stock is fast as hell to me.
