Default EPP Blower Cam Idle Video *Updated, 701RWHP with dyno graphs*

I stepped up from the LS6 cam to EPP's Blower Cam and I am very impressed. EFI Alchemy installed the cam and tuned it. Drivability was unchanged, the idle is just sick and it pulls much harder. The twin intank walbro's cannot keep up so I am about to swap in a bigger feed line and fuel rails and then back to the dyno! Ill have pre and post dyno graphs soon.

A big thanks goes out to EPP for designing such an awesome cam and also to all the folks at EFI Alchemy.

How much power are you making that the dual walbo's cant handle??? I had to be making ~900whp and I had no fuel issues with mine.

with a 4.00 pulley and no meth, it made 650rwhp on a mustang dyno, fuel pressure would drop to around 40, injectors would hit 138% duty cycle. Im going to try and switch from a brass "T" fitting to the home depot 3 to 1 air compressor fitting. i am on the stock feedline.

Your pumps will be fine. Just upgrade to -8 feed, aftermarket rails, and a -6 return with a boost referenced FPR.

Exactly.

Your not maxing those pumps @ 650. I have seen them pushed a good bit past that point. You might need bigger injectors if you dont already have 60#'s in there.

On another note, I love the sound of that cam & its the same one I'm goin with on my D1 build.

not with me, it did 583 at a different shop, on efi's dyno, it put down 520, (but car was running rich) pre cam, with the epp cam it did 650 with the 4.00 pulley and 15 degrees of timing. i do not think the 520 was an accurate representation and i dont want to claim this high of a gain from swapping cams alone. now its at 611 with 11-12 degrees and a 3.55 pulley and the previously mentioned fueling problems.

What kind of compression are you running?

When you get a chance to look at the graphs can you give us a comparision of hp & tq numbers at lower rpms between the two cams?
