i agree , let asp fix their own problem , if they don't take care of you , then screw them with bad publicity. show their "excellent machining skills" on every board.

i'm getting a feeling that the cog set up they sell is just a kit for another vehicle with the exception to the crank cog ( heck , who knows, it might be for some other car too) and all they did was re lable it and hope that the customer could figure how to make it work.

Yep, I will email them this link if they don't cooperate, it what 1600+views so far? Thats a lot of interest in this kit. So it would be in ASP's benefit to get this fixed right.

*UPDATE* ASP response:
Thats what happens when people do not let you know there are problems during prototyping I will send a spacer with the crank pulley

That is awesome. I am glad I sent him the pics and have been relaying all this info back to him. The kits ordered after this will have all the needed pieces to bolt it right up. Unfortunately they will be closed for 12-24 to 1-5
Just my luck lol.

at least it was nice of him to reply so fast.
i say they should at least refund some of the cost of the kit. no one told you it will be a prototype any you would be the guinea pig.

did you ask him if the blower cog had to be that thick, or if it could be machined down from the end away from the blower?

Hmmm....

I'm thinking about just ordering a set of them now............I'm pretty confident that they will work, as long as the alingment is right.

I'm going be having Chris Sikora and his brother doing all the pulley work......

I'm understanding that ASP has to work out some bugs. I'm hopeful that they will stand behind their product and take care of the issues. As most of you, I'm sick of belt slip and inconsistant boost. If ASP owns up the the mistakes and takes care of it's customers I'd be interested in a GP this winter to pick a set up myself. I'll have my fingers crossed for you frcefed.

I'm sure I will have some different spacing issues when trying to install these COG pulleys on my car........I hope that my CAS radiator doesn't take up too much room.....

I remember we had to push the blower back before A LOT to get the right alingment....

How much wider is the COG blower pulley than an 8 rib pulley...........

But to all yous guys, ASP has been great about this little set back, Lee is standing behind his set up and will get me what I need after they reopen on the 5th of Jan I just can't wait to get it on the dyno, it better give me some good numbers or I am going to spray the crap out of it Nothing a little N2O won't fix lol

Jafter a day of interviews and job hunting.

thanks, i think in my case the fitment is going to be very close. i might have to machine it down a bit.

now another question for you: is the 8 rib sitting on something or is this how it sits when you lay it down?
i just put one of mine on the desk and it sits flush on both sides.

merry x-mas everyone!

Dirty the 8 rib is from a Vortech if that helps any. Both my 3.2 and 3.4 both have a "neck" to the pulleys so if you put them on a table they sit about 1/8in high.(stamped sized numbers face toward the s/c case)
