Default ATI Cog set up is here!

UPS finally dropped off the box I've been waiting for, at 3:00(mountain time) this afternoon took some pictures for you guys to check em out, They didn't come in the red anodize that I checked off on the online order form...oh well, but they are clear anodized . I paid 495.00 delivered from RPMoutlet.com I don't know if this is the going rate on this site anymore as I haven't checked but it is a hell of a deal if it is. The kit came with the CP cog, S/C cog and idler pulley as well as the correct size cog belt. I should hit 15psi with this set up. RPMoutlet sell/sold this kit, but ASP makes it for them.
Here are the pics,

All three SCHWEET

Size of the CP and the crank cog.

Idler and s/c cog, the s/c cog is about the same size as a 3.4

3.4 6 rib and cog together

Belt PN and Brand

Spacers for the cog set up they are .280 and be sure to ask ASP for them if you order this kit, from what ASP told me he doesn't send out unless you ask for them.

I will be throwing this on the car tomorrow, I was expecting them early but UPS always takes it's time getting to my house. I wish I had a house with a garage that I could fit my car in( mine is packed with tools and race stuff) Damn this cold weather atleast tomorrow it will be in the 50's
I sized the pics on the small side, because the board is being flooded by the other board.
Jeremy

HA HA I just PM'ed you. Yep, I really wanted the red but oh well They didn't come with the locating pins but I have 10 on hand from my pin shearing days You can find these at your local machine shop though. I will take a lot of pics and give a detailed write up on how much work it is to get everything to line up. I think I will get some new s/c mounting bolts for the added space that is needed with this kit. I will also send you some pics of the "modding" I did to the lower radiator support while I am under the car tomorrow.

instead of pins, why not tap the holes and put some beefy bolts in there?

Yea, I plan to tap it and put bolts on like I did with the 8 rib, now just get those pulleys installed and lets see if they work, then I will be calling ASP ASAP!

Without a rim, how does the cog keep the belt from moving side to side?

How will the sc cog sit compared to the sc pulley? I know on mine there is extremely little room between the sc and alternator pullies. They do look nice! Hope it works out.

It does have a rim. For these types of drives, its usually on the idler...as is the case here. That's all you need. Look at the pics again.

You'll be glad you got the clear. Colored anodize is not a hard coating. One scratch will be there forever. With the clear you won't see it.

Did you see how they machined it? Looks like they milled the entire outer profile by 0.040 at a time or so.

Jason Short, it was 495.00 to my door from Rpmoutlet. I don't know if they still have that price for them though, ASP said that they charge about 650 for this set up and can't explain why RPM is selling them at that price, but it worked out for me

Marc C is right about the idler pulley having the rim, I was at the dyno checking out some mustang cog set ups and they don't have a rim on the CP or the s/c cogs. So I am not worried about it.

I will post a pic of an 8rib pulley next to the cog in a few hours, I just have to get ahold of my brother(he has the 8rib pulleys for his Vortech)

I wouldn't worry about how thick the S/C pulley is. The 5 spacers(.280 thick) will give you the clearance needed for the s/c cog. Last pic on the bottom, If you do order be sure to ask for these or you will have a hell of a time getting it to line up.

As for tapping the pin holes thats as far as I get today, the pin holes are too big for the ATI pins and the extra pins I have, by about a hair. I will have to take the crank cog to the machine shop to have it tapped for some bolts. Oh well.

Nope I have to make another visit to the machine shop tomorrow, but I will be putting the rest of it up(s/c cog, spacers, idler) and hopefully the machineshop will be done with the crank cog by 1-2pm. They were backed up today.
ON A SIDE NOTE, looks like Rpmoutlet has taken this kit off their website completely I was just there checking to see if they still carried it at the price I got it for and I can't find it anywhere. Looks like I got the last one for that price If you are interested contact lee@aspracing.com maybe he can hook some of you guys up at a group rate.
