You'd better hurry up Jeremy. I'd hate to be the first F-body in the tens up here. I just got my Nitrous kit, and is going on tonight. I'll be out there this sunday. I sure hope you'll be there. I'm only running a 175 shot through it this weekend. Take to you later.

lerajie Man thats great, i'll pm you now to set something up. Thanks
Bos, Nope nothing yet getting pretty tired of waiting.
PNYLVR So now they are running at the track? I thought you told me mid feb? Your stories always change. Sounds like you are calling me out now. What I am to do, pull a set of newly machined cogs out of my ***? I am at ASP's mercy now. IF they have em here by Friday, I'll be smoking you by Sunday But if you want to wait and go head to head, then I call you out now, lets line em up side by side at the track and see who gets 10's first, that freshly built 396 LT1 of yours or this freshly built lil 348 that's unproven, you even have the advantage of having a few passes on that new combo. Ball is in your court, wait till I have the cogs and try to beat me fairly or go run it now and live with the 10's until I hunt you down? BTW you never called me back with how much your T/A weighed in at. Is it that much? You've been hanging with that mustang crowd too long, your are starting to sound like em.

Damn another LT1 guy, dude hurry and get your taxes done so we can drop in your 396 LT1, I didn't buy a engine hoist just to do one swap.
PNYLVR knows I'm messing with him, but if he wants to go side by side and see who gets 10's first I am all up for it......He might need to wait a couple weeks though. He still has to beat a 11.3 for him to talk any smack about beating me or getting 10's. I just wish ASP would knock out these cogs for me, so I can have a car that is running lol.

Keep up? When have you gone faster than me at the track I'll be there sunday with the 6 ribs on to have some fun. I really want to see your car run, you've spent a lot on it and put a ton of work into it. But lets keep this post on topic so it doesn't get shut down. Call me or PM me. Don't take this to bad, just giving you some good ol smack talk(just don't want you to use the 250shot on me)
Bos ASP said my cogs will go out friday.

From: Richmond, VA Where fast cars, well......are hard to come by.
frcefed, What kind of air filter are you using and where the hell is it sitting/pointing? I didn't think there was room upwards in that space.
Oh, and get those cogs soon I'd like to see a no-slip answer.

Ahhh someone is paying attention to my pics and saw my airfilter set up(well what you can see of it lol)
*edit* I was kinda off in my previous desciption of things but hey I am old and my memory sucks
Here are some pics of it out of the car. The whole thing slides right through the opening between the intercooler pipe and the car.....with a little effort
But the whole thing fits rather well and I have had no interference with stuff like the fog light or side marker light. It goes right in. I was right about the tip of the filter sitting right under the foglight(it's a tight fit there) As you can see the air filter gets plenty dirty in that location, and just think the intercooler is right below it.
Its all about finding the right elbows one 45deg and one opened a little wider, I found the second at home depot in the plumbing section. I had to trim the flange off it with a dremel but for 5 bucks it was nothing. The 45 deg elbow is an ABS piece from my old Powerdyne kit as was most of the silicone connectors. Its all the same diameter 3.5in to the inlet hat which is a big plus.
Hope that helped alittle

Here's the email i got from ASP about the cog setup.
Hold on a week or two. We are working the bugs out of the kit right now. Looks like it will be a 73/31 option only. Price is 650.00.

Hello,
I saw a few people on LS1Tech.com talking about the cog kit for the f-body ATI kit.
Man it looks too sweet!!! Can i still order this setup? I would also want the spacers as well. With the crank pulley being that large and the blower pulley being 3.4" on a D1SC with make tons of boost Which is fine by me cause i'm building a forged 383 stroker with GTP S2 ported LQ9 heads. Plus i have a new D1SC kit as well. Is there any issues with this as far as clearance? I want this kit bad. Just one question...are cogs alittle louder than a regular belt? Not that i care really, just curious. Please send me pricing for everything i'll need.
Thanks,
Den M.
