in the performance hand books By Jeff Hartman, they did a twin charge set up and they made way more power doing then doing turbo or supercharging. the turbos where pushing air through the roots supercharger and making it put power back into the crank
My buddy Tony has one of the baddest GT500's in the country on compound boost. Makes like 1100. It makes more on boost alone but it's a pig out of the hole. That's why he put the blower back on. It's full weight+ and stick shift. I think his best is like a 9.4x @ 150+
