Thanks for the comments on the interior. I'm pretty happy with the way the it came out and working around the cage. From what we are being told by NHRA chassis inspectors we have one of the first true stock suspension, stock floorpan, stock firewall 25.3 certified chassis in the country. A bunch of pictures were taken by NHRA chassis inspectors to use for other builders and inspectors in the country. Too bad they didn't pay for the work. Now if I can get the 7 year old paint job cleaned up then I will be happy with the exterior.
Anyhow, we are getting really close. The motor has been in for 2 weeks and new headers have been fabricated. Alex at Big Head motorsports in Roseville, CA did an awesome job fabbing these up. Check out his website and pictures below. http://www.bigheadcars.com/
We have a few things to finalize and we plan on testing next weekend. Let's hope we don't encounter anymore ignition gremlins.

Went out testing a few weeks ago and encountered a minor problem. The first time it happened we thought it was a freak thing, fixed it and came back out. Unfortunately, the same problem happened again and on the first pass of the night. Below is the timeslip from our only pass on 6-24-11. Good thing the problem is minor and we are waiting on the rockers so we can put the motor back together. It should be up and running end of next week.
For those that are curious we were not getting enough oil up the pushrods and to the rockers. We ended up eating a pushrod on cylinder #5 on the pass and the result is the timeslip below on 7 cylinders and shutting off at about 1000ft.

Thank you and appreciate the compliments. The collectors are actually Flowmaster collector mufflers. They are a 2 1/4" inlet and 4" exit. It is a pretty common collector muffler and not too expensive.

Got the minor valvetrain issue fixed and the car running again, so, we took it to the track on Friday night. Track prep is not that great for Test and Tune nights so we were fighting traction issues and had to take timing out on the launch. Overall we are making progress and the car went quicker with a slower 60ft this time than the last time out with a better 60ft. Probably helped to be running on all 8 cylinders too. Below is the timeslip and few extra pictures I snapped on Saturday.

Would like to but I have a wedding on the West Coast that weekend. Working on the possibility of LSX Shootout in Indy and Duck's Race at SGMP. Figure if I'm going to haul the car out might as well stay for 2 races.
