I understand the whole dare to be different thing, but save yourself the headache and do a front mount turbo.

chase3, you are dumb as ****. And keep trying to bash one of the most prestigious LSX tuners in the south west, see how that works out for ya.
First off you dont know a ******* thing. LMR burned holes in 3 of my pistons thanks to 28 degrees timing on a FI car. Real prestigious. Oh and its working out great.

Oh I dont know maybe a little thing like a patent LOL

Density less ping..... has more energy to be released then hot. cold air more mass will = pushes more mass aka turbo blades.

Was this comment really necessary?
ok then it seems like you do not understand anything in my previous post. so i will put it simply for you.

why would sts tell you to run the stock manifolds and not long tubes and wrap the **** out of the exhaust pipes ? if cold exhaust gases spooled the turbo they would not tell you to do that

and if the design was good the automakers would buy the patent or find a way around id. don't forget that a turbo originally was intended for diesel use and i am sure it was patented

i have already explained it to you, but you keep coming up with some BS

t76 on a 418 ? that is a little small. a t76 will work good on 347 front mount.
i am surprised that you only see boost at 3000rpm with a 418 and only a t76

Well I also tune cars and have done so for quite a while now and have no problem saying what I say on the internet to people's faces. I don't act different on the internet then I do in person. Besides, if you wanted to actually "beat the ****" out of somebody for calling you out on your misinformation then grow up. You are acting like a child that doesn't get their way. Besides around here coming up and attacking somebody is a good way to get permanently ventilated.

I never said rear mount turbos don't work nor have I said anything to the OP to try to change his mind so I am not sure what you are even talking about here.

See so i dont see how all this **** got started than me not liking that people bash on the RM's. I had stated long ago a front mount is more efficient. There is just no way around it. You dont see me getting on a front mount post saying negative things about them. So i just dont see why on every rear mount post someone has to get on their and bash them. Because yes its a fact they arent as good as a front mount. But to me it just wasnt worth having to do so much to the engine compartment. Just like i stated before. Everything is all about preference. For me it was RM. Just being different with it. I am trying to agree with you here man , i am just saying that it gets me all uptight how on every RM post someone insists on bashing.

I agree, i had the setup on a 347 but like i said before LMR left my timing at 28 degrees on a motor i told them was 10:5 CR so it was only a matter of time before they melted. I will eventually go bigger than that but this turbo was so new i hated to just ditch it. STS says it would come in sooner with manifolds and such but i run big tube headers but im not trying to squeeze everything out of it, just have a fun street car.

I will post them when we get started. Autorama is coming up, so I have to help my friends get ready for that first before we can get started on my car. We will get started in early March from the sounds of it.

I know of people who have paid money to have STS kits de-installed due to all the issues.

The oiling system is terrible.
