T400 peepz what converter are you running?
Curious to see what brand converter you are running, what you are running, and whether the converter is a 9" or a 10".... post up if you have time...

I've used both Neil Chance and Yank. Personally, I like the Neil Chance for streetability. It drove like it didn't even have a stall! Until you foot-braked it.
However, they both seemed to work equally well at the track. The NC converter was worth an extra 1-2mph, but it ran the same ET and 60ft.
The other thing about the NC converter that's nice, is I had the bolt-together unit. So making stall changes to it could be done in-house in about 2-3 hours (pull the trans, unbolt converter, modify, re-install). Much better than shipping it back to the manufacturer and waiting..and waiting...and, you get the picture. Of course, the NC converter was almost twice the price of the Yank.

I've got a buddy's destalled Yank on the way, it should be in the 4000-4500 range hopefully. I called and talked to a few converter places, and when I told them that I expected to make peak torque around 5000 they suggested converters in the 5000 to 4000 range.
