Default found some procharger inlet goodies

found these at pep boys, one of them should be a nice start to a good inlet for my F1A. There 4in. diameter one is aluminum the other is rubber. ill be on the dyno next week so hopefully I can get some stock procharger hat vs. custom dyno numbers. not sure which one im going to use yet. the rubber one is pretty stiff so i dont think it would collapse

I'm pretty interested in this seeing as how I need to make a custom intake/hat for my D1 now and my F1 when I get her. Let me know how it goes.

I am using that same aluminum one on my D1SC right now, but had to make a lot of modifications to it to make it fit...the outlet on the Blower is closer to 3.75" than 4" so getting that elbow to stay clamped on was a big issue, and it also runs right into the lower radiator support because 90 degrees is not a tight enough bend, definitely makes for a good setup if you take your time and modify it though...good luck

its pretty stiff but if people think it might be an issue ill make the aluminum one work. the silicone one looks a lot easier to make fit, especially since i can put it right on the blower

I bought the Pepboys 4" one and had it cut and welded again to make a extra tight bend in my setup. It works well.

Well for what its worth folks, I went up to pep boys and they have a 90 degree hard rubber elbow that is 4"they also have a 4" coupler that has a small rubber ring that fits inside of it that makes it adapt to a 3.75. So I bought the 90 and the coupler, used the rubber ring inside the coupler for the 90 degree elbow, bought a 6" straight tube to go from the elbow to the K&N air filter. Everything test fit perfectly! My car is still in Claremore getting the intercooler piping tig welded up. So this next Friday it should be done I will post pics on how it looks. Should flow a HELL of alot better than the Procharger inlet hat. Looks alot better too! I think I spent about 50 bucks total not including the K&N

DEFINITELY let us see some pics of this setup man. I really wanna get rid of this stock hat setup. I think I could get another 2 psi by switching to something better.

Another thing just dawned on me, I've got the Griffin stand up radiator but I'm also running the A/C Condenser and my radiator is at the lip on the lower core support so it hasn't moved back any. It should also work with those of you who have a stock radiator that slants.

Post pics of your inlet when you can! I loose 100 rwhp from my inlet hat and have back to back dyno pulls to show it....I am working on getting a decent inlet on it
