definetly one of my top 10 favorite f-bodies on the forums.

Rear tires and turbo are a little small though....

More minor wiring complete. Finally got the E98. We are hoping today the SS will fire for the first time in 18 months. I guess will see. Still need to do final fitting of the hood also.

How is your AEM ecu working for you, I'm interested in it and if you don't mind sharing some info about it I would appreciate it.

The AEM works perfect. I have been running it since I went turbo in 2006. The system works great. My sponsor and builder - Excessive Autosports from Sioux Falls, SD - is damn near an expert on the system - not much that he can't resolve. With the driver box and A1000 boost controller, I can do anything the more expensive systems can. I run an older system, but they now have an LS verse and newer updated one that I would love to have.

What kind of info do you need?

I read on their website that it can control either wet or dry nitrous systems and run the with the stock LS engine harness and coil packs. I would like to know some features of the nitrous controller, and anything else that it does with the LS stuff.

thanks

IT'S ALIVE -- finally after 18 months. Took a little to get her started by once fired she runs like a top . Sounds pretty good, I think. Here's a short video clip.

No idea on the nitrous - I do know that the program can control it, but we only run turbos. The best would be to call AEM. They have just come out with the LS ver.

To get it fired up is one thing. To get it 100% track ready is another. We are looking for Memorial Day weekend. It really feels good to hear the beast roar once again.

Next step is the dyno

Sounds great Hopefully i'll be able to get my pile running this summer as well. I have to install the BS3, bought it used and it came with a chopped up harness, and the injector harness was gone also LOL.

Cant wait to see it on the road David.

Actually, Joey (my builder and owner of Excessive) took the car for a ride today - well actually drove it from the shop to the trailer. It's suppose to rain all week, so there will not be much work done on the car. Very little left to finish. Just the dash to be put in; some toggle switches, a couple more minor things. Biggest thing is the tune.

*** Thanks Drew, you're always a big help

Here's a longer video of start up - Yea the big tall guy is Joey from Excessive and his partner in crime, Dan.

You not worried about the thrust from the exhaust pushing you sideways?

Couple more minor details done. Hoping to finish the wiring and dash tomorrow. Our goal is still to make initial passes Memorial Weekend.
