Question: Did I hear compressor surge when you let off the throttle after finishing ur burnout? If so, is that something to be concerned about? Or is that just the type of BOV you are running?
Thanks.

Just the twin BOV.

Oh by the way - my 1st run's air intake temp = 48 degrees; never got above 71 on any of the runs. -- actual air temp low 90's

Default Nice ride!

Hope to see this car in person this year. The June 11-13 race here in town was pretty good had a couple of fast street cars running high 7's. Make sure to post up when you plan on getting her to CF raceway so some of us guys can come watch.

Actually on my 2nd and 3rd passes my team said the SS picked up the front end - on 1.72 60's. Obviously the track went away real quick.

will the springs in yours fit into a standard f body or have you changed spring types? if you find 300lbs+ springs for the rear id like to know where so i can get a set for myself lol

Nothing standard - I have a 9" with their perches; I than bought Wolfe adjustable perches for the top part; welded them in. These can be bought any where - 2 1/2" X 8" tall X 275lb is what I'm running right now (always thought they were 325lb, go figure). Just can figure the right one I like - performance and still being able to make the SS set right.

On going to Iowa - not sure when; but our Mustang make a bunch of trips down there - I will be going next time.

Next TNT is 3&4 July.

Having some real problems with the convertor. Slipping 17+%. We'll have to suffer through it this weekend and than ship it off to get it completely re-done.

Hopefully the weather will hold off long enough to get some runs in this weekend.

All will be good next time out. The convertor is crap, but will be fixed by the next time out.

Good thing - the shops twin-turbo Mustang went a new best of 8.69 at 165mph. He had a better run going when the car shut off for no reason. The car has twin 76's, built mod motor, weighs 3750lbs

I wish I could remember the actual numbers, but we've tried 9's "normal" end; also they have another type that has the end cut - tried both 9's and 10's. I don't remember the exact #. We put in a set of NGK 8's (we knew we need 9/10 but that was all that was available). Didn't get to run with the 8's as we discovered the 'pop' on my last run - intercooler split a seam.

2 weeks and we'll be back at it.

I run the autolite race plugs orginally recommended by kurt urban and haven't looked back. We stated with the 3911, switched to 3933 and now finally with the 3932s which we had good luck with last year.

Thanks Phil -- I'll have to look up the # we were using - seemed to remember in the 9 series - but I will try to look the numbers up. I appreciate the input.

What is the equal - 9's, 10's 11's???

Thanks

Thanks for encouragement.

And thanks Phil for the plug #'s. The Autolites that were recommend, were just wrong for our engine. Thank God that the only thing that was hurt was the intercooler - 10" split down the side. Plugs are all set now.

Intercooler is out for Joey to repair. Next thing to tackle is the convertor. I'm sure that Lenny at Ultimate will do good for us - once we get it to him.

Been running his convertor for 5+ years. Only 1 problem and he full warranty the convertor. It will go to him to tighten it up and upgrade it to a 2K convertor. It is out and will shipped tomorrow. Hope to have it back late next week, just in time for our track outing.

New springs (10" 300lb) came in today and put in. Now for scaling the SS
