Thanks everyone

Earl H- Compression ratio is 9.2-1 Tests were done on a mix of 110 and 93 (about 70 percent 110). The car runs 11psi and 93 octane all the time however.

Playdough- It is the original LT1 block, with Diamond splayed 4 bolt caps, eagle crank, rods, and Diamond pistons.

PSJ- The cam change was done to raise peak HP rpm. It used to peak at 5,400. Now it peaks at 5,850. It also carries the power further. With the original 214/222 cam, horsepower had fallen of to 600rwhp by 6,200. With the current cam, it is still at 700rwhp @6,200.

I think a 3.23 gear would be perfect with a 17in tire, but it seems 12 bolt gears jump from 3.08 to 3.42, nothing in between.

mongse- I havn't dynoed the car with an open downpipe with the current combination. I probably won't because I don't have any plans on running a cutout. (I like quiet)

I'm not really sure what to make of SS00Blue's post. (as in what context or meaning).

That thing is making some sick power.

I'm sure we will find some unsuspecting people to race in chicagoland.

First of all, congrats to Jim. I think you need a tire sponsor for the burnout championships

PSJ needs to get a hold of Vizards book so he can do all his cam math for himself
