Question Who built your FI motor? Would you recommend them?

I have some feelers out right now with a couple sponsors to have a FI motor built. There are so many great options out there for us Im pulling my hair out trying to decide.

Ive done a few searches specifically looking for sponsor builds.... when I purchase a built motor I want to have it built by the business Im working with, no second hand builds where its a sponsor that has the motor built elsewhere then becomes the middleman.

I currently have feelers out with HKE, AES, and a local shop non-sponsor.

Im looking for any personal recommendations as well as feedback from sponsors.

With that said... who built your FI motor, would you recommend them, are you happy with your results?

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at ERL. They make a killer LS2 (6 bolt superdeck). I decided on them after talking with mightymouse.

Virginia speed, great reputation, knows how to overcome obstacles, can build you a motor that can take anything you can throw at it. Also have reasonable prices. You basically have guys who sell built engines, engine assemblers and precision engine builders. Shawn falls under the precsion engine builder category.

I'm actually in the same boat. Going to purchase this May. Currently looking at HKS and AES myself. Both shops have been extremely helpful in my many questions (more so with AES, but only by a hair).

Just got my motor back from Baker Engineered Racing Engines. Great customer service and follow up, reasonable pricing, as well as in depth FI knowledge from TJ (hellbents10). I'll be having TJ tune the new build as well.

I've used Lingenfelter and Kurt Urban. Both can built a killer engine, but Kurt's customer service is superior. Kurt will get it back for a refresh soon.
