Twin MP70's on an LS3 416 w/ AFR 225's

Thats interesting. I put the .96's on my mp70's since i thought the .68's would be restrictive above 6000 rpm on a 400" motor. I havent run the motor yet, just got it fired up and starting tuning after I get exhaust back together. I figured .81's would be perfect but MP doesnt make them. I just know my other combo seemed to fall off sooner in rpm than expected and didnt pick up much with boost higher than 14 like I expected with .68's but the motor did have a fairly small cam and small heads for the combo.
Then again TC78's seem big with your motor in that power range..so a .81 a/r may be abit large if the turbine is larger than a P trim

Yeah i bet... my mild 401 with the old combo came on boost pretty quickly with twin 60's and .68 housings.... I went to twin 70's same housings and it was abit more delayed on boost. I liked it since it gave car a chance to hook on the street but didnt pick up power..just too much compressor for the mild motor....new motor setup should take full use of them tho
