Twin MP70's on an LS3 416 w/ AFR 225's
We are just getting started on another project. This one is BonnarLS1's car.
We were initially going to do it in a bunch of small phases in order to see the individual effects of the mods but it was determined that it would add too much time overal and Joe (BonnarLS1) is wanting this done in 2 months or less.
The car is currently a 2000 Formula with an:
LS3 416 11ish:1
AFR 225 heads
FAST 92mm Intake
FAST 92mm Throttle body
Comp Cam (Can't remember the specs. He'll post it)
Kooks 2" LT Headers
TH350 w/ RMVB and TBrake
9" 3.25:1 gears, spool and 35 spline axles
Runs on a 325/50/15 MT DR and weighs about 3900#
Runs consistant 10.4's @ 128ish with solid high 1.3 60'. N/A
We will be making a (modified) truck manifold twin kit for it. The current plan is the cut the flanges off the truck manifold and weld on a forward facing 2.5 vband flanges. Then a small 2.5" elbow up to each T4 flange right up against the frame rails and the Master Power 70's inlets facing the fenders. We are going to try to retain the PA K-member and see if we can squeeze a 3" out the driver's side. Pass side has lots of room without the A/C Compressor in the way. Oil return for the turbos is via a couple -10 bungs currently being welded into the front cover.
So we started in on it last night. They got the entire front clip apart in order to cut for the radiator and measure for the intercooler. I'm pretty sure that we decided on a treadstone 3" single bottom in/out that is 30" wide(overall)X 12" X 4.5".
ABS is getting deleted and all the relays and harness is getting relocated into the car. The dash was removed and all the A/C **** on the inside and outside of the firewall is coming out tonite.

This car is also getting the AEM computer, 160# injectors, 2500 HP Magnafuel pump and will be on e85. It will start out as a low boost setup. Once he banks a little money, the motor configuration will be switched around a little bit for lower compression and mo' boost.

Looking forward to another kick *** build from you guys.
Should be a monster with that compression....

I've got my second gt70 coming in tomorrow to match my current one. I can't wait to start my twin turbo setup. I'll be going out to sea shortly, so it will have to wait. I'll be watching this though.

Remember the 20lbs of copper your stripped out over here? LOL.
Sans that little dinky intercooler. That got rejected by inspector Los.
Our buddy that does our welding is making him an aluminum tank with a sump.

MP-4303. Correction. It is rated at 2000 NA. Should be enough to supply the fuel for now. Once we turn it up, we'll add a second pump if the need arises. The tank will have 2 -12 bungs at the sump.

Hahahahaha, true, I really need to do the same to the engine harness before I bring it all in the car, that was a lot of wire I got rid of!!!!!
