Twin MP70's on an LS3 416 w/ AFR 225's

Hot side and DP are painted with the 2000* stuff and then wrapped thick. Each section of down pipe has 100' of wrap on it and each of the 2 short hotside pipes has 50' of wrap on them. Forearms where burning. Sending the stuff out to get coated adds 3 weeks of down time. The plan is to get it fired up ASAP in order to verify that the wiring to the new AEM standalone, relays and sensors is working correctly. Then the interior can go back in the car. Then it comes to me for a couple days of tuning. I have to learn the AEM software still so I am allowing a little time for that. Better to under promise and over deliver. Then make a few passes to make sure all is well. By that time, he should have repaired the damage that this build has done to his marriage and THEN he can get the **** coated. LOL

Where did you guys put a coolant overflow? Also what did you guys use?

Looks awesome, can't wait to see it run.

See the shinny cap right in the center on the bottom of the pic? That's the overflow. It's a race car overflow that they sell at Murray's. I think it's their brand CHM or something like that.
The catch can will be moving to the back of that fender well by where the PCM used to go.

Jake at Power by the Hour is sponsoring an Outlaw Street Car challenge at PBIR. I think that it will be towards the end of August. Rules are that the car must be street legal (tagged and registered), have all factory interior with all the body panels (backseat delete allowed), working lights and signals, factory glass, stock style suspension and a 275/60/15 maximum drag radial. Hopefully we'll be able to make it with this car. Steve is going to try to play also.
