I've used dyno dynamics dynos where the strap comes up between the rollers and you actually strap to the rear end itself. Its pretty awesome because you put lots of tension on the actual part that you need to stay. Held a 1200lb ft cummins no problem

We normally put the rear tires towards the back of the roller, only had 4 in the rear and 2 in the front. We will look into something different when it goes back onto the dyno.

Nice pic, we ended up getting a third run in too. Here is the rundown that I posted on rwhp.us

Overall, I am quite pleased with the first shakedown of the car. I mean the first time it really drove under its own power was around 3 am Saturday morning!
Boost was turned down to wastegate spring, which is 7.5 psi.

First pass on the virgin track, rattled the tires at the hit off the transbrake, I got out of it, then nailed it again, pulled strong through first gear. As soon as I hit second, the car spun and pitched sideways. At that momoent, rain covered the windshield, and it was a nice awakening.
Second pass, footbraked to a 1.45 sixty foot, ran mid sixes through the eighth, but at high speeds, the hood bowed up so much, it blocked nearly the entire windshield! I could not see, and got out at 800 ft. coasted to a 10.30 at 116
Third pass tried the trans brake again, but was gun shy, and didnt have faith the track would hold, so I didnt build any boost off the line, so a lame 1.8 sixty foot didnt net a great time, but it was the first full pass, and the 130 mph trap speed , would have netted a 9 sec. pass with a good sixty foot.
Keep in mind, that was all 7.5 psi of boost, we have almost another 20 psi still on tap, once we get a good boost controller on the car.

Good day at the track, and I still cant believe we pulled it off!

Put it on the scales last night.
3369 lbs, wet, with around 7 gallons fuel, and 5 gallons of water in the ice tank and all fluids no driver. Not too awful for a filled iron block and schedule 10 equal length turbo headers. Stock carpet etc....

The AMS-1000 should be here today, then wrap up a few small bugs. Then it is on its way to Milan, MI for the GM High Tech Performance race on July 10th. Matt will be driving, I will be there to setup the car. Come find us to check the car out in person.

seems like the guy from Forced inductions was right on the money when it came to what the turbo is going to put out.

Not really. We are still on a conservative tuneup. With a small 1.08 A/R housing. There is another 100-150hp left in it when we feel the need to lean on it.

Congrats on the numbers! Im really curious what my GT 4788 will do with the billet wheel. If I remember Precision said it would do like 100+ hp over the cast wheel and spool a bit faster. Only one way to find out.
