Very cool. How is the durability with rubber or whatever material that is with your power level?

Engine back in for mockup of hot and cold pipes

Moved the motor plate mounts to the top side of the frame rails, I can drop the engine in complete, before I had to install the headers in the car.

Shawn gave me some 1/4" 6061 aluminum plate to make adapter plates for the -12 water pump bungs.

Custom timing pointer from Shawn and Brian *** @ Virginia speed

Intercooler back in the car, just need to finish welding the v-band on the intercooler pipes

Even though the intake is tall, it doesn't protrude much over the stock hood height.

LOL, I doubt it. It looks like an o-ring in the block and one in the head.

Hell of a set-up. Most of us can only wish to run that set-up.

What are you going to be running for gas? Have you considered running E98?

For the EGT set up - we are not going to be running any EGT to start - but we have looked at the Altronics EGT set-up. We have a Mustang running this separate from the AEM we run. Seems to work very good.

Good luck.

Thanks man. We're ran C16 last year and made a few changes for this year. I used a racepak setup but altronics and a few others make nice setups for under 1200. This year we've addressed the problems, so far everything has worked as planned.

Believe me, I'm NOT knocking C16 BUT on the shop's Mustang we lost over 100 hp by going from E98 to C16. He went back to E98. I also understand that Q16 is a little better that C16 - and it costs the same. We're going to E98 not only for the little extra power, but the cost $2 a gal for E98, over $16 a gal for C16.

Didn't know racepak had an EGT set-up - I'll be running a racepak for my main gauge cluster.

Good luck

Q16 sucks, we ran it for over a year before we saw the long term effects. We made more power on C than Q. We've got something in the works.

On the car you lost a bunch of power, what were the IATs? C16 likes to be between 80 and 130 if I remember correctly, it can't be too cold or hot.

We never have run Q on any of our cars, but that is interesting.

Not sure on the IAT's. Not sure on the Mustang's set-up for monitoring the IAT but we do have a set-up on mine. I guess will see once we get it on the Dyno.
