I have a vortech ysi supercharger kit, i am looking to for a power steering relocation bracket. Vortech does not make the power steering bracket anymore. I have seemed to search every where and am looking for some help.

Shearer sells one for turbo kits. You could see if that would work for you.

Shearer's moves the pump and reservoir closer to the motor in the same location. Not sure if that is what you are after or if you are trying to put it somewhere else entirely.

He needs one that moves the reservior to the front by the radiator and just leaves the pulley on the head, cant use the shearer one since its only meant to move the pump and res inward. He needs the vortech relocation.

Start shopping for Power Steering pumps, Summit might be a good place to start. The design is a standard unit that is made by Saginaw, Type2 it is referred to if I remember correctly. They make them with reservoirs and without, not sure if the bolt pattern is common though.

It's not pride. You pay for what you get, you won't find a header with nicer craftsmanship and material. We're looking into a building a ghetto version of the headers that will be more on par with existing headers that are available.

How much would you charge to fab a power steering bracket?

2300.00 for a set of SS turbo headers is not out of the question. With good merge collectors and v bands the materials alone adds up quick.

Shearer, I mean't no disrespect, I'm not stranger to the work that you or Josh@KY do, and I'm not one to question the craftmanship of your products.

and fwiw, "ghetto" thing was a bit much.

Check with RMCR as they used to work on a lot of Vortech cars.

I was going to let this go but
Lets break this statement of yours down
1) "I wasn't slamming"
Shearer's mighty proud of those turbo headers @ $2300 a pop
That IS a slam
2)nor was I being a dick
You posted a slam that was COMPLETELY unrealated to the OP's topic
that IS being a DICK!
3) nor am I clueless
As Steve Burger posted quality materials add up fast. You can not buy the materials used in Ron's headers for what some sell a header for. You Really are clueless as to the costs involved in making parts like the ones Ron sells.

I really cant believe you had the nerve/stupidity to try and justify you're actions.

Maybe a little. The term has a lot of history here though and they'll be referred to as Ghetto Headers. I built some Busa turbo kits for a local shop a long ways back and they were deemed the Ghetto Kits since they did pretty everything they could to keep the costs down. It was a joke and the name stuck. So when we do something cheap here we refer to as Ghetto.

Back on Topic. This may be something similar to what you are looking for?
