Default Need advice on Merge pipe dia. and WG sizing

Check the sig for the basic set-up, it is going to be a typical truck manifold z06 cammed LM7. The charger I went with is the GT4294 with a Tial 1.00 v-band inlet hotside. My question is with the truck manifold flanges being availible in 2.25 and 2.5" outlet and the inlet on the v-band housing being 2.75" what size merge pipe should I be going with? should I go 2.25 from the manifolds to 2.75 into the charger? 2.5 from the manifolds to 2.75 at the charger? 2.5 at the manifolds to the 3 down to 2.75 at the charger? I am going to be using this housing on a GT4202 down the road so I'de like to leave room to grow but I dont want to hinder performance now. That and with the set up I have I believe a single 44 WG will flow enough to keep me safe at around 15 PSI. Also who makes an afordable stainless merge that will work for the set-up I am asking about?

2.250 to a 2.750 merge will be more than enough. One of the most mistakes made on a turbo system is people make the piping too big.

I'd do 2.5" from the headers to the turbo, make the inlet at least 2-3" of straight tubing before the turbo.

ok guys thanks for all the help. I was looking into SPD but they want 189.00 for the merge i needed it was a very high quality piece but a little to high priced for my budget. Cone dosent have the exact 2-1 I need but their prices are down arounf 40.00 so I am going to call them and see if they could do a custome piece. I think 2.25 to 2.75 will the best route to go for now.

What did I miss...2.5" tubing is small with 2 to 3" of straight section before the turbo. Did you think I meant 2 - 3" pipes?
