Default how many stock cube ls1 turbo cars are in the 9s?

all you guys with 9 second stock cube ls1's come in! i am wanting to do a winter build and need advice.

**** I think with the onset of the ls2 or lq motors some just walk away from the ls1.

i have seen basically the same nubers from both in mild setups. i want to stick with the ls1 for now.

Oh im not trying to sway you bro, Yeah the same numbers can be achived with a ls1 but the curve is way better with alittle more cubes. I think Kurt from wheel to wheel had a car called casper way back in the day that went low 8 and it was stock cubes.

Caspar was 352 cube I think that made 1700 hp. Pretty sure it ran 6.86 @ 207 mph. Wild ride I heard. Uses a 6.0 iron block and it spun up to 8900 rpm. First lsx to run 6's.

harlan went low 8s many years ago with a LS6 block (348ci)

if you have the suspension and tire as well as a thought out combo you're gonna be deep in the 9s with a turbo. you are about to a very happy man. the first time i went into boost i was ear to ear. then a huge frowny face because i left the wastegate line unhooked and spiked the motor. a headgasket, 317 head, and set of sparkplugs later i was back on the road.

the car will be setup well but im a noob when it comes to boost lol so any ideas for a street strip combo that will run atleast a 9.999?

yeah a T4 flanged PT88, meth, TH400, and a 9". that'll sure get you there.
