What cablebandit said. I personally think much more than 600rwhp with a single pump is pushing the limit. Keep in mind, what we did was on the dyno for only about 4 seconds, without the same load as the car would see on the street or track.

Rob, what CR would you like to see on a 382 stroker with Stg. 2 LS1 heads for a turbo application. I have a 382 built by MTI with 11.1:1 CR, and am installing a 150 hp wet nitrous kit for now. A turbo setup would be nice down the road, and I would freshen the engine, obviously get new lower CR pistons, O-Ring the block or heads, get a different cam, and add the turbo kit. The motor has the Lunati rotating assembly, which I assume would be fine for the turbo setup.

What kind of number would you project with my setup on a turbo using 94 octane and the alcohol injection? I have a Rossler built 4l60E and a Vigilante 3200 multidisc goin in next week, which should be mild enough stall for a turbo (3.23 gears)? I know that full race gas and more boost would always be good for about 75-100rwhp or so.

Thanks and congrats on the progress, if you can get 600RWHP safely on a stock motor, that is just unreal.

How reliable would this kit be detuned for pump gas without the alchy injection? Are you having issues with the stock tranny and rear yet?

Turbo w/o a doubt the way to go.

try to get some timeslips b4 the engine lets go.

Thumbs up

Rob these results and this thread are so cool , that I have not only added QMP to my puters favorites to watch this project grow, and go, but I sent all this info to a "Good" friend that is in the early stages of buying a used 2002 ZO6, and he is already planning on seeing U for this same set up, set @ 500 rwhp for his car!!

Congratulations Rob, and keep up the good work!

Great job Rob! Do you think that if the stock motor makes it there and back if you'll tear it down to see how the internals held up? Or will you just run it till she blows? I'm really looking forward to results of your project. Keep up the good work!
