ST80 on 347ci !!
Just like that title says What do you guys think
Turbo is
t4 1.10ar 80mm hot side 83mm cold side with the race cover
3inch downpipe.
Engine is built 347ci 8:5 Brute Speed cam stock LS6 intake for now.
heads will be either new 230 AFR or PRC 227 still didnt make a choice.
M6 Trans with stock 3.42 gears.
I'm looking for 680-730rwhp on pump and 850+rwhp on race gas and high boost..
How laggy will the turbo be ? I dont mind a little lag my old STS twin turbo making full boost at 3800-4000rpm.
What size waste gate should I use?? What BOV?
Let me know what you guys think I dont want to regret the order.
Hussam.

I wanna run it 1st without the spool valve.
Thanks.
I thought about it but I really dont want to run low timing or race gas all the time since we only have crappy 92octane around here.
Thanks for the vids man I'm sure the auto trans helped the spool.

Here is another video, but it's a 1.25 a/r SX80 T4 flange. It's rear mounted and was run without the quick spool valve. Still spools pretty decent, this was also on 91.

Both 1320 and I ware surprised how well the SX80 spooled with the 1.25 a/r on my car. It's not lightning fast like everyone wants, but was acceptable and much better than the T76 I use to have on my Supra.
If I were to redo that test without the quickspool valve now it would spool even faster due to having the exhaust better insulated. Once you add a valve though, the car becomes completely different. In cool weather I can actually get into surge at part throttle it spools so fast. Surge is never an issue in summer though due to spooling slower. In cool weather my car spools similar to a stock SRT-4.
