You motivated me today. I got all the wires cut and numbered. I had 40 though hahaha. I have to take the ones that aren't required out. What size hole-saw did you end up using and where did you find a grommet for them?

I'm going to start on my abs delete kit next. so we'll see how that goes.

Not sure the exact size but it was about 2" and I got the grommet from an industrial wiring shop, its a local company so that doesnt help you lol.

Relocating the wiring was the biggest pain of the whole project. I wouldnt do it again.

Got the waterpump figured out tonight. Removed the pressed in fittings and tapped hte holes using a 3/8" and 1/2" NPT. Bought some 45* elbows, hopefully that should clear the downpipe just fine. Ill have to wait til the car is running to make sure it holds water....

Finished up the waterpump today

Success!

Went ahead and cut the capped-off recirc flange in the downpipe. It looked hideous.

Ditched the two-tone on the intake manifold and went with a matte black like the rest of the engine bay.

I had to cut off the old o2 bung on the downpipe because the cap was rusted in and I could get it to budge with WD40 and a torch. Started welding in the evac system when I ran out of gas

Done for the day. I finally got to use my ARP intake manifold bolts!

Couple issues, my coolant hoses dont work. Mainly the one from the radiator to the thermostat. The griffin has a larger inlet then the stock rad, butI managed to get the stock hose on it with some oil. I really dont like how its stretched out though. Also the wastegate dump tube interferes with it. Ill deal with that later...

Why cap the egr? Why not cut it off and fill the hole?

I dont think you read it right. Its a recirculation flange for the wastegate but the previous owned just capped it and dumped the gate to the atmosphere. I cut it off and filled the hole. I didnt put pics because my welding isnt pretty. lol

hahaha! I'm sure it's alright

I bought a universal radiator hose kit off of ebay for mine. It worked great, no leaks or anything. It's the metal flex crap and it is painted black. It comes with a bunch of inserts for all different sizes and it comes in different lengths.

Oh, my bad. It looks exactly like an egr flange, same shape and all.

Thats my plan. Short term, is to deal with the stock hoses though. I dont want coolant hoses to hold up me driving it.

Got the pushrods in today and put the rest of the motor together today. Hopefully the couple turbo parts I need will show up tomorrow or the next day. Gauges are wired, with the exception of the sending units for the fuel and oil pressure.

How the line lock and ABS delete look after Dr.Matt came over and helped. Ran some fluid through it today and no leaks!

As it sits. The braided line hanging down is the turbo oil feed and will be moved once my STB is on.

Had an issue with the crank pulley. Got it slapped on there and realized that my install tool was no where to be found. Went to pull it off so I can try to heat it up and slide it on, then realized I lost my puller tool! I got frustrated and didnt go back to the garage again.
