Default turbo kits for vette

Im shopping for a twin turbo kit for the vette and I love the ttix setup.. but I feel they may be limited on a 6 bolt 427 that I would be running 15lbs on street and 25lbs at the track eventually.

So what does a guy do.. custom single seems to be what I would love but its alot of downtime...

HP twin 67 or 76mm turbos? I am concerned about lag how do guys like this kit? Seems to be the choice im leaning but the ttix just looks better made. Both are about 10k.

If you are worried about downtime, STAY AWAY from HP.

Too many personal experiences with the company. They never deliver in a timely fashion.

Go TTiX with 6265 turbos (at least) and you will be happy. It should make 1000rwhp without issue.

I already talked to Trevor about the HP Kit before I started the single setup and he told me it took 4-5 months to get a kit from HP.. but give TSP a call just to be sure I really love HP kit with twin 76mm..

So I'm building single turbo setup ST80 with little 347ci though lots of work but I'll get it done on less than a month..

with 427ci 6bolt I'd go with GT55-91 T6 Atomic Fusion made 1300+rwhp with TH400 and not the highest boost too.

That could be true. Jason, Trevor, Joseph, and all the other guys in LBK are great to deal with.

It probably doesnt hurt being that close to Nathan and his team in Roswell.

Good Luck -

Might be worth giving Nick Yoskin (think he is on hee) a shout. He is currently building a pretty special C6 twin turbo kit that would probably work on the C5s to!

Also have you concidered something custom like what RCC has had done? Twin 83mm should be able to feed your engine with all the air it could ever want! lol

Chris.

I have the HP twin 67's made tons of power. Best kit by far.... If you really want one let me know. I live just down from them and may be able to get one together for you rather quickly. This way there is only a couple weeks down time from order to receiveing it.

You still have the C5? I have a kit from them that I was told came off of a C6 but wondering if you would happen to know if they made any differences for the C6 kit vs the C5 kit? And would you mind if I asked you to contact them if I happen to need any parts quickly for my install as you are local to them?

No differences, both kits are the same. PM me if you need help or are missing anything, but i am pretty sure you should have it all.

I do still have mine, drive it all the time.
