I'm wanting to say that it is now $2,380+ shipping.

When I called them they were saying that instead of a price increase again the supplier just stopped giving them rings and bearings with these kits.

I think the last thing I heard from them is they were still waiting to get the newest batch in. I have been waiting on my parts to be shipped to me.

My experience with Brian at AES was positive overall. Looking forward to the results of the new power plant.

AES (Mike),

Have you guys done any 398-400 cubic inch motors with the 3.825 crank and LS3 bore?

LS-3 Block
Callies Compstar H-beam rods
Callies Compstar 3.825" crank

Are the correct pistons difficult to come by?

They built my short block 3.819 stroke with a 4.130 bore = 409" utilized a CP piston. I ended up with that combo because I got a smoking deal on a Callies mag crank from Katech as it turns out the ring pack is even better with this set up.

That's cool. I'd love to do a 3.825 x 4.070 398 and turn my Whipple up a little bit.

If I could get a good deal on this: 3.9" Stroke

I'd be all over it too. 3.9 x 4.070 405
