Dammit if this was an undivided .96 I'd be all over it... good luck with the sale!

I've got that housing on my tc78, I'd be willing to trade you if you got this. They should swap right over, I could check with forcedinductions also to be 100% sure.

They will swap over. I've got a .96 a/r turbine housing for a TC76 with the f1-68 wheel for sale for $200 obo. It was only run for dyno tuning, then I switched it for the 1.15 divided, so I know it'll swap over.

Hah I know you can buy housing but I made that comment since it's essentially brand new, I would've wanted to just get a turbo with the .96 from the get go... but now that Skinnies has mentioned the housing swap, I'm real interested.

Skinnies... I'm just responding to your PM now...

Any input on if the F1 trim compares at all to the Q trim since both the Q & F1 trims are one step up from the P trim (for the T and TC series trubos, respectively)??

F1's turbines are taller than the old P, Q, O, ect.....

they are a newer design, "should" be higher flowing

F1-68 very similar in ind/exd to the Q

F1-65 very similar in ind/exd to the P

IMO.... go as big as you can on the turbine housing, no way it can hurt you with how responsive the F1-68 combo is

on my 370, auto with a 1.15 boost is still instant

and Skinnies.... I have the 1.15 off my TC78 if you would be interested..... I am having Comp turbos cut me a 1.32 housing

So I've decided I'm going to make this turbo mine!

rotary1307cc... thanks for that info! What kind of numbers were you making, both boost and power, and about what rpms did you start to notice boost build and also peak?

Cheers!

you will like that turbo

well mine was on an auto with a crappy converter... only ran up to 8psi

even with the tight converter (till boost and then massive blowthrough) initial boost was the second you got on the go pedal.....

not much for numbers on the dyno.... 30% converter slip and it still did 470whp on 8psi with no IC

that was good enough for a 10.3 @134 spinning

have WCCH ported LSA heads, with IC and a good converter now so will be able to see what the turbo will do

skinnies has gone 8's on the TC so...
