Default Budget turbo build

I'm thinking about buying a turbo kit from my buddy for 250$ brand new. Comes with turbo, intercooler, headers, all pipes but downpipe. I believe it's a 67mm turbo. I'd like to keep the bottom end stock just for now so my ? Is what do I need to get this to run good on my car? I know I need oil lines, injectors, fuel pump, new plugs. Also have a Set of 241 heads that I will be porting and will get new cam, timing chain, etc. So what else do I need?

A turbo kit with all that for $250? Sounds to good to be true....

You'll also need a boost reference fuel pressure regulator, and a waste gate and blow off valve.

be careful. those wastegates and turbos are prone to failure. do a search. you will see how much trouble those POS things have given everyone here. but they do work and do well with streetable setup and they retain AC.

That's what I did and haven't had a problem with it.

You'll need to make your own power steering lines, get solid mounts, enlarge the header bolt holes, and some kits have issues with the return from the waste gate.

I have solid mounts and 42.5lb@43.5lb injectors for sale btw
