Im waiting on an st80 from forced inductions for my 370. It should be a good turbo for now and still give me some room to grow. My goals were about the same as yours.

Theres a thread on another site that I came across when I was doing some research on the s380, he went from a gt42-76 to a s380 and picked up almost 70rwhp at the same boost level and it still spooled just as quick. That was on a 331 in a mustang, but it just shows the effeciency of the bw turbo.

not really apples to apples if he is using the 87mm turbine

that would be like the F1-68 vs the 42's 75/82mm turbine

or was he using the 83mm?

Thumbs up

OP good luck with your project.

Listen to people who have been there and done that and don't try to reinvent the wheel.

It is better to do it once and do it right.

So Dr Turbo what is your opinion on the garrett/pte 75/82 turbine vs the BW 83/75 turbine? Mostly the same or do you prefer one over the other?
