Yup... ID2000 injectors. Unfortunately I had to send my new wideband back to the manufacturer for some issues. Can't wait to get these things in and tuned.

Received my ID2000's today. Installed them, flashed the ecu, and adjusted the base fuel pressure. My wideband had to be sent back to the manufacturer so I turned on closed loop and went for a ride. These things smoothed right out... beautifully.

I have been working diligently over the last few days to finish my id2000 injector install, and fix a few other odds and ends. I had an alignment planned out for the car on Friday, but realized that one of the rod ends on the tie rod had a small amount of play. Knowing that I want to change it I was hesitant to spend the money for an alignment. I ended up going to the hardware store and purchased some mason's string. I then proceeded to do my own toe adjustments, and I will tell you first hand it works great. I went back and adjusted it a couple times. I'm **** and wanted the steering wheel perfectly straight. I highly suggest this method to anyone who is interested.

I found people using strings online. I figured it was a very simple way of getting a really straight line. It worked awesome. In other news I'm getting a new wideband gauge from autometer tomorrow to replace my broken one. I'll be back to tuning as soon as the weather clears up.

I have been trying to diagnose oil pooling on the threads of my #7 & 8 spark plugs lately. Every time I take them out for inspection the threads are soaked to from the base to the taper. I suspected Valve stem seals, and after removing the intercooler plumbing and peaking into the rear of the intake manifold I realized that something needed to be addressed. I took everything apart down to and including the #7 & 8 rockers. In short what I noticed was rtv around all the rocker pedestals except for #7 & 8. My heads are ported enough to unshroud the intake rocker arm fastener hole, and the oil from above was leaking down the fastener and into the intake runner. I decided not to take any chances and removed everything to clean and reseal all the intake rocker fasteners. In the process I noticed that more than half of my roller rockers didn't seem to roll or rock freely. Closer inspection revealed a crack across the nose of 2 rockers. I feel very fortunate... I think I dodged a bullet on that one! I contacted the manufacturer and they had no issues replacing the set under their lifetime policy. It's also important to note that the design of the rocker body has been improved since these parts were purchased.
If you look closely in the pictures you can make out a crack on each of these 2 arms!
Also decided to thin out the wiring harness a bit and do some cleanup while I had it apart. I may also address my fuel system setup as the ID2000's are at the mercy of my 255-044 pump setup.

Quick update. Starting to sort some of the body harness wires out to really clean things up.

So as far as the driveline goes, what all has been done to it to handle the power? Clutch, what kind of rebuild did the transmission go through, axle, etc?

Upgraded clutch. That's it. Seems to be working for me. I've always believed that drivetrain life has everything to do with driving habits. With that being said I have yet to take the car to the strip, and I am very "responsible" when it comes to my street driving behavior.

I think it's a combination of effort and necessity. Once I put a real fan on my car I had no heat issues what so ever. I was also space limited even after cutting the front end up.
