I got pretty busy this weekend. I had the bug to start working, and I probably only had another 2-3 weeks left before I put it away for the winter months. I'll let the pictures do most the talking. I will have a few sale threads going on as I need to move some of the parts I'll be changing to make some extra room in the garage!

Holy crap!!! It's, it's... dead! Now you have some work to do. And nice looking merge.
BTW did you catch my dyno results? (378 ls TT Trans Am build) The tuning issues are over.

Got to work yesterday. My front and mid motor plate setup is ordered as well as my hvac delete plate. Originally I wanted to modify the heater box to remove the ac components but keep the vents, heater, and blower. I don't drive the car in anything but nice weather, and it's always garaged. I think for the aggravation i save now/later, and when I install my cage, that I can live without the hvac system all together. Any thoughts?
I also removed the manual pedal cluster, and started working on cleaning up the engine compartment.

Little more progress. Sold my wheels and rear end last night. The car is just sitting on 3 roller skates now! With the interior pretty much completely out of the car it's going to be tough not to order a 8.50 cage kit.

Finished cleaning the engine up. Now time to refresh all the valve stem seals. I also pulled the car out in the rain and gave the engine compartment a quick once over. Probably go back over it one more time. Nice to clean out the 10 years of dirt oil and misc. garbage!

Taking it apart is no problem. I think it takes me 2 hours to get the interior to that point. I'm more concerned with biting off more than I can chew. At this point the cage is more practical to me as chassis reinforcement.

Touché! I imagine next season will be mostly consumed by sorting this new setup out. Maybe I will get to the track once to hopefully get the boot. I'm thinking the 8.50 cage will come next year some time. These big ticket items are, well, big tickets.
In other news just placed my order at Jake's for a built 4L80. Real nice guy to work with. Very considerate and knowledgeable.

That 9 inch is now sitting in my garage all torn down for a few changes. I made the decision to leave the engine exactly the way it is. Outside of some cleanup and maintenance there has already been too much money invested into it. Even with worked 241 heads and lower compression the engine is very responsive. I know the money I invested into a proper turbo is the main reason regardless being around 700/700 with a nice wide power band at 10 pounds on 93 octane is no joke.
