5.3l stock compression/9.5 to 1
stock rods/pistons/crank(brand new)
arp rod bolts/cam bolts/headstuds
elgin beehives seating at 150/open at 400
219/228 545/545 on a 114lsa
ls7 lifters/7.4 magnums
gmpp intake/qft 750ban carb/csu hat/ais 3 nozzle meth kit(prob 60%meth)
6012 msd(i converted motor to 58x/4x)/300ohm wires/ngk's
60mm gate/s480 1.1ar 83mm turbine/5inch dump 1.5ft long
log headers/into 2.5 xover
jpperformance timing set
aem wideband
prostar 500 pump and 13202 aeromotive reg fed by 10an , 8an to carb
wanna try and run 16-18lbs, would like to see 800 at the crank in the 700ftlb range, will spin the motor to 6700ish in my dragboat.so did i get close on the build? bout to drop it in the boat for the summer for the last time
if someone tells me i need more cam its not gna hurt my feelings, was hope'n to hit my goal with a small cam and around 17lbs or so.

lol i feel ya, but this motor wont go to dyno so i was lookin for opinions wether its there or not. gta 6.2l alum deal im gna replace this lm7 with come fall, and do a twin turb deal on it.if you guys think i can hit my 800 with what ive built, then i feel confident ive built my jetpump to suit the motor.i'll give bbc's all kinds of hell in a couple of months hopefully

Hotrod just did a article this month, about a stock 5.3, 78mm ebay turbo, and it made mid 500's on 8-10psi I think.. then 594hp with an ls6 cam.
Id say with the cam,meth, and alot more boost it should come pretty close to making your goal, now its all in the tune, to make it will last.....

sorry guys, dont have any finished pics of the boat yet, i'll post up what i have here. i bought a ole factory raceboat from mantra boats, its a 300lbs hull with jetpump intake, total weight with me in it and loaded with fuel should be in the 1100lb range race ready. its alil thing 16ft, otta leave the hole so quik on bbc's jetboats it wont even be funny, thats the plan anyways ive redone the hull, replaced all the wood inside it, went thru the jetpump and im about to paint the inside of the boat black and jet the seats covered.
looks like a lil vhull buts its a true tunnel bottom, same as a cp tunnel bottom. the boat had a bbf460 in it with 500ish ftlbs and bout 600hp, ran 113mph in the 1000ft during its sdba days. ive lightened its raceweight up by 400lbs and added what i hope is 200more ftlbs and hp
should be a tad quicker now.

here's the last boat i put together a turbo setup for and drove.its my uncle's tx20 jetboat, twin s475 twin a2w ic'd blowthru 496 bbc/9.3:1 with pro1 heads,c&s dual needles n seat 900cfm, we ran 20lbs on it with pumpgas, 28lbs on better fuel.it'd run
