I can get you set up with the right cam for your set-up. I think sometimes some vendors miss the mark on these large single set-ups that need to breathe to take full advantage of the turbo being used.
I think a set of thick aftermarket deck cylinder heads like the AFR's you mentioned or TFS heads would be right up your alley.
Let me know if you want to talk about having a cam ground for you.

Just read all 15 pages of this thread. Awesome work BlackWS666. There is alot of things I will be looking at on your build for mine in the future. I am also running a full forged but stock crankshaft on my 370LQ9 @ about 9.1:1 compression. Don't be surprised if I start PMing you for questions and stuff. lol
Congrats on your results!

Got the heads off last night, and turns out the motor, gaskets, heads all held up to the boost without issue. Turns out the problem has been in the works for a wial now. The number 7 cylinder has been going lean. Im guessing this was due to a bad injector, or clogged injector. Here are the heads and motor.

You're running an elbow and a single plane correct?
You can always stick a colder plug in those cylinders also.
I can see the detonation on the side of the piston that is closest to damage on the deck and cylinder head.

I didn't read all the pages because my phone is being gay. But are you still running e85 with no intercooler? And if so do you think contributed to the damage in any way. I want to run e85 and no intercooler on my new set up.

I no doubt would do it again without a IC. Love the simplicity of the setup.

It wasnt the gasket, or heads fault that it happened. it did not "push" water. Head was only off .003 across the deck, no warp. Nothing was wrong. That cylinder went lean due to 1 of 2 things. Intake leak, or bad/clogged injector. It pretty much plasma cutted the head, and gasket.
