Just to make sure....

2.5" crossover?
1.32 g-trim?
I have a blanket on the turbo but I'm not gonna wrap the pipes... Big pain in the ***! :-)~

All I/C pipes are sealed tight and I'll recheck the POV's but I'm pretty sure they are OK. And yes, 1-3/4" headers, 2.5" crossover and a 1.32" G-trim housing.

New converter testing soon. Thanks PTC! Not throwing any more money at the Neal Chance converter... I'll put it in the nitrous car.

Testing the new setup tomorrow night. A group of us are renting the local track so hopefully I'll get all the passes I need to get this sucker working.

Got a new converter, EGT data logger system, stiffer valve springs...

Well, here's the good and the bad. Good news is the new converter works. Bad news is the track was **** and I could not hit it at the line or down the track. It was a complete spin fest.

The first video was my best pass. It was a spinning short shifting low boost pass but it still went 131 in the 1/8... The 2nd video is in car videos so you can see how much I had to peddle it. But with all that said, I do have something to work with now so my changes were worth it.

Raced the car this past weekend and lucked into a 2nd place finish in the local Outlaw Street class. The car still needs work but it's getting better every time I make a change.

I also got my best time to date of 8.32 @ 153 MPH with a 1.34 60' My 1/8 mile time was 5.40 @ 137

The MPH is off because I lifted early... I peddled it mid track and I was way ahead of the guy I was racing so I coasted across the line. I was shocked when I got the time slip...

Not that pass... Grrrr I had two cams in the car and two friends filming it and NOBODY got it. They/we forgot to turn on the in car cams and both the other guys didn't film it. I was sad to say the least. And it was a wild ride too...

Did some more testing this weekend to retune it after finding my fuel pump issues. I had to completely rebuild the fuel tables so it was slow going at first. Then it was crazy because it was making way more power now at lower boost levels so the car was all over the freakin' place.

Most passes were in the high 8's at 145-150 range because I'd just let up. It would spin the tires most of the track then get wicked loose at the big end. My last pass I went through the lights drifting sideways frying the tires... Pulled the chute to save my butt. I was half throttle most of mid track trying to get it to settle but it was having none of it. So I finally just decided to see if I could power through it... Big mistake! LMAO! But I did get my best MPH of the night at 167 with the highest boost reading on that pass of about 15 lbs... But I got a lot of tuning done on the car and learned some things so it was all good.

I have a in car video of some of the passes but they are virtually worthless because tires were shaking so back that it blurs the video! LOL!

The testing continues and I'm getting closer to getting a handle on this thing.

Took it out last weekend and ran 180 MPH but my times were crap. (Mid to high 9's) Boost is still relatively low @ 18lbs. BUT I think I could have found my traction problem so my next test session could be very interesting. If it hooks I'm gonna turn this sucker up and see what she'll do.

Thanks! And am I happy for switching? Good question. I think if I ever get a full non spinning pass out of this thing I'll be happy with the switch. They power is addictive but when you can't use it... very frustrating. The nitrous setup would hook on a dirt road and I loved that. But I think this setup will come around. I just found a major issue with my pinion angle so I can't wait to make some more test passes.

Video from this weekend.

Car is leaving on 3.5 Lbs of boost and sloooooooooooooowly ramping in to 20lb in 4.5 seconds... Yeah, I was being conservative but I did not spin!!! This pass I had a 1.32 60’ time, 5.50 1/8 @ 137.6 and a 8.290 @ 178.9 1/4. My data logger said I peddled it for a second in the middle but I don't remember why.

PS: The guy in the other lane had some issues that's why I was on the brake so long and the clicking sound is my boost controller.
