Wastegate mounting?

Default Wastegate mounting?

Will it hurt anything to dump the wastegate stright into the down pipe or
should I redo this at more of an angle Ive already got the one side all
welded up

Certainly, It would be better if it angled in but ultimately it will really depend on how restrictive the exhaust is.

Also, please post more pictures of your setup. Got a buddy that is building a turbo 64 Nova that would love to see how you have it in there.

Closer to the turbine discharge the worse it is too, you are going to be creating alot of turbulence where you don't want it like this

you will be fine. what are your power goals? is that a 3" down pipe?

Right now I am using a stock JY 100K long block and am looking for 600rwhp
but will be upgrading to a forged bottom end some day

turbos are precision 6265 with a 3" down pipe the pic I posted is a old one
ive welded up the wastegate pipeing on the one side and the other is all tacked up other wise I would rotate the wastegate and make it a smoother transition
