CBR F2 System First Install
He told them that he could do it with the meter. I suggested that they do a SD tune but it's there car and there money they can do it anyway they like. We will have a 2 bar map sensor on hand just in case the tuner misunderstood them or has a change of heart.
IMO I think a SD tune is the best way to go for any FI car.
Tuners are like doctors everybody knows the best one.
So i'm sure boost and power will be limited to within the realms of safety and And the owner should be aware that any time you add boost to a std engine there is an element of risk.
It was a pleasure talking to you. You have definitely thought of all the little details that make this the ultimate kit.
Little things like a K-member designed so alignment shops can work on it, keeping the kit quite & streetable and having it so a car like mine doesn't get hacked up in the process is exactly what I've been looking for.
I pray you have great success in this and all your ventures. I look forward to talking to you in the near future as I get things lined up.
I want you guys to take notice on how clean and professional looking the mods to the frame looks. Jesse and Ryan are top notice guys when it comes to things like this.
If you weren't a F-body guy and the places that where moded had paint on them they would look like GM made it that way.
The car is getting a 4L80E and I stopped by the shop over the weekend to take a few pic's.
In this pic you can see where the uni-body frame the goes over the trans had to be notched to make room for the main electrical plug on the left and the notch on the right is for the rear cooling line.
That yellow stuff you see is 3M welding paper covering the fuel lines and other things.

Passenger side detail

Driver's side detail with trans installed,

Passenger side detail with trans installed, no oil return fitting is installed in this pic but the frame notching is necessary.

In this pic you can see that there is a tab that has to be removed and the ear needs trimming to get the 4L80 to fit the F-Body in the bell housing area, this was done on both sides. This trimming had nothing to do with the turbo kit, this needs to be done to get it to fit the F-body floor pan.
Notice the paper and tap on the input shaft of the tranny, This is done to keep any welding and grinding debris
out of the new tranny.
Jesse and Ryan always go the extra mile to do it right.
Good work guys

We are still waiting on a convertor so as soon as it comes in and if there are no surprises
we should me dynoing this thing very soon, hopefully by the end of the month.
Stay tuned!!
