50% on which setting?
Without pushing the ****, just rotate the ****...that setting is your requested boost in % rate. Meaning if at max your turbo's push 30 pounds of boost MAX, than 50% would be 15 psi.
Push the **** once, that gives you the gain (if i remember correctly) which goes up to 35% total. The higher the number the faster the boost comes on. You can easily exceed your max boost with the setting that high. I have mine set at 19-20% for 18 psi.
Push it twice and it gives you start boost. This setting is determining when the controller takes control of the gates. This setting is set in actual boost #. It needs to be as close to the spring pressure as possible.
Then you have your overboost setting...it's screen is red. I set this for 2 pounds over my requested boost level. This is a neat function because if your first (boost %) setting is wrong or too high, this feature wont let the turbo's run away.
The next one is the retard for the safety feature...this setting detrmines (in %) how much boost the safety bleeds off when hitting the overboost. I used this to find 18 psi exactly. I set this to a max of 15% so I wouldn't overboost, and made pull after pull until i found the proper boost level. Then I set it at 19.5 psi with a release of .4%. So when it overboosts, the most I hit is 18.5 psi.

If nothing happened then it's definetly hooked up wrong...or not working. I think it's hooked up wrong though. Still haven't said whether you're single or twin turbo. 100% is MAX boost, and 35% is full open as fast as possible...so that makes me think install error. Are you hearing compressor surge?

To me, it makes sense, but then again, i have no idea. Ive been JohnV would chime in here, or NicD.

It's not a nitrous solenoid...it's not a function of open/closed. It's a slider or electronically controlled variable orifice. Did you run the vacuum line to the back of the control unit? Is the filter installed?

I dont think he wants to ruin his 100% feedback, lol.
Honestly, ive been racking my brain trying to figure out how to bench test. Its been frustrating. Im not one to buy used parts, unless, 1. im getting a stupid *** deal, and 2. the seller has remarkable feedback ratings, ebay or here.
its a bummer, and like Turboav said, its a bummer to wait, but oh well. what can you do.
its going back monday, im going to overnight it.

The only way i can think to bench test it would be to use a compressor with regulater, lower reg setting to say 20psi connect to greedy controller and tee to inlet side of solinoid then play with controller and see if you can get flow from the solinoid outlet to wastegate.
