Turbo LT1. What max coolant temp is ok?

Default Turbo LT1. What max coolant temp is ok?

what are you turbo guys seeing for max coolant temps or just crusing around town. my car is a fresh build and trying to get it tuned it is climbing up to 215-218 before i shut it off.

How come you never shipped out those fuel rails to "trans am you lose"?

Mine is around the second mark on the temp gauge which is about 185 degrees. Cruising in cool weather will be around 170 degrees.
What does your cooling system consist of? Stock fans? 160 degree thermostat? Stock waterpump? When does your fans kick on and do they spin the correct way?

while sitting, ill rise to 200, but im sure my set-up is WAY different than yours

220 is not too hot,that is stockish range. Are your fans coming on? Can you set them to come on earlier? Mine come on way earlier than stock.

Are you all reading the gauge in the instrument cluster or logging and seeing what the PCM is reading?(sensor in wp)

Mine is supercharged but will read 220 on the dash in stop and go (ewp, stock fans, 160 tstat). If the weather is 80 deg or less it's usually below 200.

mine never get's over 200-210 and that's with hot lapping it at the track in 104 degree weather today and no cool down from the time I got there to when I hit the staging lanes.
