Default Gapping for boost

i have heard to gap spark plugs at .032-.035 is that correct, if not please let me know what every one is thinks

depends on boost level.

.025 is good for low/moderate boost, but for high boost you need to be tighter, e.g., I run .018

Exactly. I run my BR7EFs at .025 at 16 psi. More boost = less gap.

im planning on starting at 8-10 lbs to brake in the motor then step it up after to 12-14 lbs

I have 10 lb on a Vortech V-9, had NGK TR55 at 0.05 with some problems at idle, went to a tuner & he told me to switch to TR6 with .035 gap, now it runs like **** - AFR stays pegged down at 10. Maybe something else failed, will get it diagnosed next week. Meanwhile Vortech says "to use stock heat range and gap unless heavy-duty use". Since this is my DD I'm gonna change back to stock-ish plugs this weekend just to see if it works. But god help me, I hate changing those bastards.
