Crank thrusted excessively...I forget how much. Tom and I changed it out though...no issues after the crank issue go fixed. There was a decent amount of material in the pan as well. He didn't get it running until after he got home though.

Not sure off the top of my head for a M6. Autos are a completely different story..lol

Btw, any engine that comes though our shop will have 'AES' and deck height stamped on the block deck. I take it yours did not have these?

they should be posting soon. but in the mean time ill dig up some old jacked up engine pics for you guys to look at

so here is a stock crank. now look at the postion of the wheel


now here is the engine i got.


you might have to look hard but look at the holes in the crank trigger wheel. not even close to the postion of the stock crank

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Tom. I've been following your build for a while because we both have the APS kit with better turbos, just on different platforms.
