I think my own cheapness is the cause I never put a check valve on. And at this point I'm sure that's what it is. Gonna put one on later today

Oil feed line. Figured I wouldn't need one due to the way the line was run but was incorrect.

Yeah. Didn't realize it would be an issue like it was.No biggie tho. Once I get off my *** and put it in I need to drive it for a bit and get the oil all burned off, the wot smoke clouds will disappear in time.

You aren't going to get that much from an on3 single. The biggest one they have is essentially the same as a TC76. You could easily do it with 2 of their 67mm turbos though.

You'd be hard pressed I think. Iirc master power dosent make anything bigger. For those power levels you guys may look at the Borg Warner s400 series turbos. On3 is decent but no ones really pushed one yet sounds like. I'm planning on turning mine up to 18 psi soon but I'm also a rearmount. So ill probly only be in the high 500s for rwhp

I'm shooting for 600+ with my on3 LQ4 with a Speed Inc. TU1 cam. If I can't 600+ then I will be getting another turbo. I don't think I will have any problems though with a front mount setup.

Doubtful, they only seem to come with p trim turbines, or an even smaller turbine.

I should have some new results as we switched from the 70mm to the 76 .96ar ball bearing on3 a couple weeks ago on my buddies z28. We have been attempting to tune it at the track, but cant keep the car planted, it spins a LOT, even leaving off no boost it spins any tire we have tried besides a 28x10.5. Last outing it blew up the tq converter. This is a street driven stock 6.0 with a g5x2 and the 76 on 11lbs. Best we have mustered is 6.90s @105 with a 3-4 times pedal fest.

How is the spool time compared to the 70mm?
What AR was the 70mm?

as soon as you hit it, the boost is there..almost instantly. The journal bearing 70mm took twice as long on spool time, it was the 1.0a/r. Before, you could footbrake it to right before it pushed through the brakes, and that was 0psi, then leave and it would make 9psi about 40ft out. Now, with just a turbo change, it will footbrake 9psi..or push/spin. Even leaving from 1800rpm and 0psi, it makes full boost just 10ft out.

I've actually ran the bb76 on a trans am with great results. I would buy another.

Good to hear. I have a rear mount BB T76 from them. Makes good power, but long spool time with the .96 AR. I talked to them and they will sell just the .81 housing. Going to order one today. Since it's a rear mount, that should really help with the spool time...I hope! LOL. Right now I'm foot braking to 0psi.

I bet once it comes in it really gets down! I have used the journal bearing 76/.81 on a rear mount. It was in a 6 speed car, spool wasnt too bad, about 3500rpm on a completely stock motor with cats on it still. we basically bought a bone stock z28, pulled it in the garage one night, cut off the muffler, put a flange and turbo on, wrapped the rear section, dropped in a fuel pump and injectors and rolled out.

Wow. All in a day? Pretty impressive. What did you do for cold pipe and oil system? No intercooler I take it.

Yeah, I get a few pounds boost in 1st, a few more in 2nd and a rocket engine in 3rd. Would like the rocket to ignite midway into 1st though. (.81 AR Housing is on the way, as well as 2 rolls of exhaust wrap.)
