Its stock except for a large turbo cam. I'll check for a loose coupler.

What's the AR on your exhaust housing? .81? .96?

Its definately not the turbo making it laggy. Something else is mismatched.

I'd have to agree. Check all your couplers for a boost leak. Also, check the exhaust side of the house for leaks.

I think its because I'm coming from a procharger. There is no waiting for boost.

the .96 housing might be your issue. depending on whats going on, one guy switched form a .96 to .81 on his T76 and it made a world of difference. on rear mounts we have to be careful not to get too big on the AR unless you got a motor to push it or a spool valve to "trick" it. say a 383 and up range.

On a rear mount you have a ton of chances to lose exhaust energy and heat. That 96 should be no issue. Maybe try doing a leak test? Not sure how easy it would be, but worth trying. That and check for any available places heat might be escaping.

not to change the subject too much, what are you guys using to feed the on3 turbo? I have an oil feed flange with a .08 restrictor built into it. is that ok for my journal bearing turbo?

Was told to run a -3an feed on journal bearing by on3 themselves.

I'm running mine at 15lbs now and all I can say is WOW. Full boost just before 4k and it pulls hard
I'm looking for a decent priced turbo blanket for the On3. My turbo sits a little close to my rad. After a couple pulls my temps start getting up there.

Hi everyone im debating between a on3 76 or a ebay t88. From what ive read the on3 has a small turbine 64mm and the t88 has a 75. Its going on a 5.3 with a 4l80 looking for 600-700 to the wheels. Im doing ebay turbos to prove to a relative who says im crazy for thinking ebay turbos and a 5.3 can make that much power. Oh and ill be using a tu1 cam also. What say you?

fist off, are you doing front or rear mout? depending on location a T76 with a 1.0ar would be a decent front mount turbo while the T76 with .81 ar seems to be the general starting route for decent power with these ON3 turbos.
FRom what i see the T88s seem to be sized strangly. alot of them have 60mm compressors and then massive turbine outlet. id imagine if you can feed that thing with enough air then i guess it would be ok, but with a 5.3 i think the T76 .96 would be a great starting point. ON3s is rated at 750hp. im sure you might be able to push it higher with a good amount of boost and tuning.

What are you guys doing for your fuel system. I seem to have run into a small wall with my setup. I've noticed several times that when I hit 9 psi, (top of second gear and at 5500 rpm) my AFR goes way high, like to 16!!! I immediately back off, but this gets me thinking if my fuel pump cannot handle the amount of fuel I need on this setup. I'm running an Aeromotive 340 (just one). I'm wondering if I'm pushing the boundary on it's capability for a single fuel pump on stock wiring and fuel lines.

What are the 600+ rwhp guys running for fuel systems? I'm thinking of going with the Kenne Belle Boost-A-Pump setup. Would rather not have to run new lines or add a second pump.
