A finalized set of rules would be nice so I know which engine to put in my car. I have a stock L76, LQ9 and LS1 all sitting here. I messed my 408 up a couple weeks ago and something is going in the car. This class would be perfect since it would save me from having to buy a ton of stuff and I could have some fun with the car while saving for the next build.

We're still working on the site and most of all the rules.. The site doesn't looked like it's been worked on much but it has. It just hasn't been published yet so we don't cause confusion with a half done site.

As for when I'm hoping tonight, but TurboDiesel is a busy guy. I'm real excited to see it all up and open to the public but we'll just have to wait a bit longer.
In that time I hope you're all getting your cars ready.

Heres a little idea, have a boost no boost set up where you split the boost cars up and run them, and then the nitrous cars and run them and then run the winners for the title. That would work well because aint no nitrous car gonna keep up with a turbo/sc car stock for stock

the reality is that in the real world, nitrous cars cant keep up with turbo cars, if you keep everything else equal, so this should be no different.

plus, i believe in this event one can use any combination of power adders that one wishes

It would be interesting to make this a whole weekend event and maybe if someone has one of those semi trailers with a portable dyno on it laying around bring that. It would be fun to have a dyno shootout the same weekend with these stock engines.

The event is planned to be a one day thing. If there are enough people interested and willing to participate, we're prepared to make it a weekend deal.

I don't know of anyone who has a portable dyno. With the event being at a great track, why make a stationary shootout? :p We shall see what the big man has to say!
