Then what you need is a good set of shocks.
I would do strange double adjustables or afco's if you can swing the price for the Afco's.
I have Afco DA's coil overs at all 4 corners and I wouldn't trade them for a big block
They are the sole reason my car hooks at the track every time I run it.

Ive heard great things about the strange DA coil overs, that's why I have them on all the corners. If you don't wanna drop a grand on coil overs, look into an adjustable shock for the from and rear, drag springs in the front an stock springs in the rear.

I have always heard if it was full weight 325 in the front, medium amount of weight reduction(3200-3400lbs raceweight) 300 in the front. For really light vehicles a 275 like I run in the front is probably best. I like having a taller softer spring in the front on a lower power car as it stores more energy and during launch stored energy helps transfer weight a lot better than a heavier, shorter, stiffer spring.
