Meth injection, hmmm, didnt think about that as far as IC goes. Or if i run a standalone, plop an injector in the intake??

Im not sure, ill cross that when i get to it i suppose, i had every intention of waiting until the end to figure that out. But i hate wiring, so kind of wanted to get a jump on it.

Well, Buddy Dave spent Friday night, Sunday night and Tonight helping me.

We got the car turned around and nosed into the garage so its closer to the work bench and the welder and did a few small things, nothing worth noting.

After spending the day over at another friends helping him pull a motor, we came back here and got the old 7.5" axle out of the stang and put the 8.8 in and got it back on the ground. We got a real late start on that due to be being busy all day. Got wrapped around 1:30am.

Today, monday, we got the heads pulled off the 5.3 and i started pulling the valve springs and replacing with the PRC .650 dual springs, however, i need to order new seals before i can wrap that up. No pics until this point. With that said, we new what had to come next, stripping and gutting the interior, FULL interior car with carpet and seats and the whole nine yards

Few hours later we were left with this below, i will order the cage tomorrow or wed. The flex plate and pilot extender should be here by the end of the week along with a few other odds and ends things will start moving again, Hope to have the drivetrain all buttoned up with the exception of the DS next weekend and start the turbo build...

Also, pretty sure unless for some reason i really fall into some good deals, regarding a radiator and fan setup and oil pump, im probably just gonna skip the forward facing turbo and mount it like dville's. I dont have enough time to do alot of off the wall stuff right now and need to seize every oppurtunity that i have.

Also, im a little worried about its ability too cool on a long street cruise.

Anyway, onto the next task...

Think ive got the old lady talked into ordering one for me

no updates really to speak of, Decided on Engine managment, going with Holley HP EFI.

did get the trans installed and thought my car was out of whack, but apparently the trans tunnel needs clearanced for the linkage on a powerglide in the mustang?? according to AJE.

also, i have to get my pilot extender machined down as i cannot even bring the converter to the flex plate all the way to move it back for the proper spacing.

Ordered radiator, 19x22 dual pass, should be here today or tomorrow, and after i take my heads down to a local guru for some tweaking, ill put them back on and begin building the turbo kit...

I love laser red, not big fan of laser pink though. At one point the outside matched the inside! jk good luck with the build!

Are you running a retrun pump from the turbo?

After a few weeks off, its time to get back to work i suppose.. lol

Went out to Brett's house this last sat night and got new seals and my PRC dual springs installed, hell of a guy. If you reading this Brett, Thanks man!

Now, got them back home, cleaned the surfaces, and put the ls9 head gaskets in, installed the arps and got them torqued down to 85 ft/lbs.

earlier last week, i got the manifolds out to a local guy, Tom From GodSpeed out in brownsburg, hell of a guy as well for some tig welding, he put my new Vband flanges on, 2.25" this time.

My new dual pass radiator will be here tomorrow, darn mail man didnt deliver anything today, so i beginning tomorrow i will start to build the turbo kit and mount the radiator.

here is a pic of the engine buttoned up and the manifolds. The passenger side is an LS4 manifold from the front wheel drive car, grand prix GXP and the monte SS. Driver side is the same the same modified Truck manifold that Andy (TLOT) did for me early last year, only with the 2.25" flange welded on.

Lol, I have no plans for anything like that for a long time. Maybe in 4 or 5 years, lol. But not anytime soon.

Not much going on, going to alabama and should have all the parts waiting on me to finish the turbo kit and maybe even start engine next weekend.

we flipped the manifolds up, i had far to many bends in the system and this way will make things much much easier. this is how it sits at the moment.

So you thinking about going with the HP now? I told you it's a sweet set-up

BTW your crossover piping looks really really good. I like the merge at the flange, looks very nice. Are you going to put twin gates on each bank of exhaust?
