Project: Stang' Bang: New Edge Turbo Build... class? Track?
#103
Thanks guys, Martin, no i did not advance the cam yet... I want to see what its going to do. I had gotten it up on the brake once without a 2step and without brake boosting prior and hit 8psi Decently.
At the moment, we are just cramming to get the headlights, brake lights, turn signals, etc finished up so we can get some real miles on it and make sure it'll be good to roll for the dyno next weekend.
Once i get to the dyno, find out all the info PTC will be asking, i'll probably try the converter at the track and see where we go from their.

New shoes on the whip and i wake up to bubbly 315s out back and 245s up front.
Tomorrow or thursday she will get the back end lowered to match the front, im going to keep a slight rake to her. I like a small rake. No **** load like now though!
Then the sanding and priming process begins, yippie yippie yippie! I fuggin' hate body work like i hate wires, ARG!
Oh, pay no attention to the dent in that fender, i popped it back out already, i leaned against it while taking the old wheel off.
YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No videos, the camera is full from the Dyno day this morning, which i did not drive to due to being afraid of the rain, lol.
anywho, Had her up to 12psi today, and wow... This thing is a damn animal.. Im going with how light weight it is.. But about the time you roll into the throttle it comes to life and the *** wants to pass you! Its a damn blast!

Alright, finished the fuel cell today, and made the new supply and return lines for the fuel system all i have to do is zip them up under the car and hook them to the rails and regulator that are already in place.
Here's what i ended up with. All connections are soldered and shrink wrapped. I extended the lines up through a -8an bulkhead and 90* fitting and filled it full of "GOOP" and then shrink wrapped the end of it.
If anyone needs to know, a replacement Walbro filter sock can be had for 6 bucks at autozone, napa etc. Just ask for a 5.0 mustang, (FOX BODY) fuel pump strainer/sock and it will fit on like perfect.

Im thinking about it, lol. I have to fix a few things first. Im a moron, and dont have the belt wrapped the right way around the water pump, cant keep it cool...
Have to redo a bunch of **** to fix this...
CSR water neck... new hoses... Need to get another Fbody Tensioner bracket and pulley.... Im so ready to get this thing out and crazy, i missed the dyno day yesterday with it, but was their and was very disappointed, lol. Hence why i came home and beat on her some, lol
Thanks, it actually works pretty good since they are sitting down inside the sump. Im pretty confident they arent going anywhere, and that gates injection hose i used is actually fairly rigid, the pumps are actually kind of difficult to move around by hand inside their. I did put some foam back inside the tank, under where the return comes back.

So my buddy Dave is over tonight, (needlsbad) who now owns my GTO, and is the one ive referred to in this build time and time again, the one who has helped me from the beginning.
I let him take her for a spin tonight, he can attest, she is an animal! Im going to work up a camera mount this week sometime and start getting videos! I could not be HAPPIER WITH THIS cars manners! Even with the powerglide!
