I have a couple friends that ran something like this on DSM's.. I dont think they had a fancy box like this though?... All you need is a 2-step and a switch on your clutch pedal.

That type of shifting is really better when using a dog style trans, it will be better for the trans/clutch than full throttle shifting with the clutch. If you are running LS power and face tooth/dog trans you should look at Lingenfelter box with strain sensor in the shifter arm, very well thought out product for these cars.

Makes sense..ive got a stock t56 with 650 rwhp..am i better off just shifting regularly or would a lingenfelter box and no lift shift be too much for a stock t56?

With a factory trans I would just shift normally.

The first time I ever ripped all of the teeth off of 4th gear was from flat-shifting.

I was using a switch under the clutch pedal to kill spark. Pushed the clutch in, pulled it down into fourth, and the trans let go as soon as I let the clutch out. There is a pretty good amount of 'shock' when you use spark cut as well. All of the unburned fuel ignites in your hotside when you let the clutch back out.

You can shift any t56 car "no lift". Just do it fast. My right foot doesn't move when I shift my bone stock t56 with the stock c5 shifter.
