Either or will work, headers are a bit lighter, manifolds are cheaper and hold heat better.
Not sure if this is true, but someone told me sbf headers will fit on ls1s if you obviously cut off and weld on new flanges, as in the tubes line up perfectly with the ports. True???? May be something to look into

Put a single plane on it, a wilson or extreme velocity elbow, 90mm TB, change the 4.56 gears out for 3.73's, if you can sell the TH400 and put a PG in it keep the converter as long as the input shaft on the glide has a turbo splined input shaft and get a S482 T6 1.32 AR billet compressor wheel 96mm turbine from Forced Inductions or Workturbo's they are both priced at 1599 at each company and support 1350hp easily.
Get the raceweight around 2900-3000 pounds with driver and you'll have a good shot.
I'd go ahead and go with 120 or 160lb injectors and a magnafuel fuel pump.

This is a cool thread and plan on doing something similar. Love it. I planned on widening ring gaps but considered it stock bottom cuz it's factory gm parts. To each their own ig. Keep up the progress!
Also I have a question for the jerk-offs, what can I do about the rust from the knock sensors that fell into the valley, cleaning it out without disassembling the motor to clean it and keep it stock short block?
Also, is the cam/ internal cam bearings considered short or long block? I mean it's in the bottom end but contributes to the top end.

I said a single plane lol. Super Victor would be great, and go ahead and get the 4500 tb now with the EV carb hat. Plate? Spacer you mean? Or nitrous?
T6 borg unit is a great choice.
Look at the S88. It's the same popular 96mm hotside with a 88mm compressor in the S400 chassis so it's not hugeish like the the S500 chassis turbo's.

And yes i was thinking of stashing a nitrous plate under the 4150 tb if i decide to go single plane.

Since this car will be run on E85 or C16 i am unsure if the intercooler is necessary. I would prefer to not add additional weight on the nose.
Intercooler?
Acceptable IAT temps for E85/C16?

3.73's wont get you there either. thats what im running in my coupe and i only run 1/8mile (its all we got around here) and I go thru the traps in high gear at 6k on a 28x10.5 tire. 3.31 or 3.27 or maybe get away with 3.55's
